| Dear forum members, I thought it would be polite to introduce us. I live in Helsinki, Finland and own 4 Cardigans. Two of them are neutered (Mudpaw's Duke Silver "Kähkönen" & Mudpaw's Fear of the Bark "Rairai") and yet, very much loved! I also own Ch Cheysuli's Tri To Remember "Kennedy", soon 3 years old male, imported from the States. Kennedy's son Big-Wood's Lincoln SS-C-X "Obama" is the youngest of the pack. While I naturally love all my dogs, Kennedy is definitely my heart-dog as we seem to share a special bond. When his flight arrived in Helsinki-Vantaa, and we got him out of the customs; he chewed on my finger through the crate door and I think I've loved him ever since! I'd like to get to know Russian Cardigan people better - even if we have the language barrier of some kind, we always have Google Translator! (That's what I, for one, am using!) Thank you for letting me post.

And again glad to see you here! I want to tell that your Kähkönen is very beautiful dog l! About Obama and his father Kennedy I won't speak l! They delightful!. I glad if you here to be frequent. Can be in future here there will see more friends from Finland and another of the countries. I `m glad that for you is interesting Russian cardis !

| yasneeyasnogo - well, what can I say. To me, Kennedy is everything and more. If you go and see his homepage and search his results, you will see he's succeeded in pretty much everything he's done. He was health tested and found clear; he was temperament tested with nice results; he has produced lovely get and, he's done ok in the showring. He is the easiest dog I've ever had (except for Ch Cinonnie Strike the Gold "Scott", my Pembroke import, who went to live with Gianandrea Fasan when I moved to Dublin, Ireland - Scott was just as easy!) - he's calm, sweet, outgoing. He never barks or picks up a fight; he loves his girlfriends and mates them very eagerly; he learns quickly (we've started obedience and my friend is training agility with him). I know it may irritate people when I say he's one-in-a-million but to me, he is. I have never had a dog who will perform time after time, no matter what is asked from him. I love him to pieces - and the best part is, he's totally my dog. He does not care for others but always keep an eye on me. Well, it means he's also spoilt rotten! We have a saying at home: "What Kennedy wants, Kennedy gets." Now that we're going to the American Nationals in Houston in April, I'm so happy I can take Kennedy with me. I could not think of leaving him to anyone's care for such a long time. He puts up with flying - nothing could ever phase him. He's just awesome, inside out. And I do not mean he's the most perfect dog in the world (as there's no such thing) but to me, he's just perfect. I don't know what else I could say. You should meet him in person to fully understand what I mean. No picture can ever do justice to his temperament. (Thank you for letting me brag:))
